田起こしと畦シート張り

 昨日、田んぼの田起こしをしました。
ついでに早めに水をひきました。
が、苗がまだ大きくないので水につかってしまった。
ので、中途半端に水をはった状態です。。。

Yesterday, I plowed our rice field and tried to fill it water.
While I filled water, I was watching plant boxes of rice and found them being under water.
I stopped filling water and wait a few days after rice plants grow well.

 ロビンちゃんは最近さらにゆっくりと生きておられます。
かなり高齢だからなぁ。

Robin has been living more slowly than ever.
He is about 20 years old.
Maybe he would be over 100 years old if he was a human.

 チロもすこし茶色い毛がまじる。
若く見えて彼女ももうおばあちゃんの年齢。

Chiro's hair has turned brown.
She is also old cat.

 苗代は緑になってきています。
あと約3週間、もっともっと伸びてください。

Rice plants have turned green.
I want them to grow bigger in 3 weeks.

 もち米の苗以外はそれなりに均一に育っています。

They are mostly uniformity except Mochi plants.
I think they were in bad condition because the boxes of Mochi plants that were low level were flooded many times.

もうひとつの田んぼに畦シートを入れました。
これで約50m。さらにもう一方の畦にもシートを入れる予定です。
結構疲れる仕事でした。

Today, I set Aze sheet, protect against leaking water, in another rice field.
It is about 50m in this picture.
It was harder work than I had thought, but the work was not end.
I have to set the other one in another side.
