苦戦 A hard work

 藁燃やしです。
湿気ててなかなか燃えず。

This is to burn rice straws.
As rice straws were wet, they couldn't burn completely.

 藁の家が全部倒れてしまっていたので、Hくん再建作業頑張ります。
藁が倒れた原因は鹿と猪。
嫌がらせかい！
と思ったけど、たぶん藁の下にはミミズがいたのでしょう。→猪。
そして、藁にはお米が残っていたのでしょう。→鹿

Small rice straw houses which we made last week were fallen down on the ground.
Mr.H tried to build them again.
The cause of falling down them was by deer and wild boar.
Maybe there were many earthworms under the straw house → wild boar came to eat them.
There were a lot of rice seeds on the straws → deer came to eat them...

 途中から完全に雨になってしまいました。
来週に持ち越しです。

We were caught in the rain in the middle of working.
We couldn't continue to work.
Our work is carried over till next week.

寒いし、雨だし。
完全シャットアウトで寝るロビンくん。

It is cold and rain.
Robin hide his face in his hands and was sleeping deeply.
